The Mountain Sports Freestyle Team at Western was designed for skiers and snowboarders who like to build skills, compete and have FUN riding in the park.

Mountain Sports student athletes compete in local and regional competitions; as well as in the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA), including the USCSA National Championships. Over the years, the Mountain Sports Program has won, or at least hit the podium, in most events. At USCSA Nationals, the overall title combines Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Skier/Boarder Cross and Snowboard Giant Slalom.
