Director of Mountain Sports – Advancement: Dave Wiens
Dave Wiens is a 1990 graduate of Western State Colorado University and has been racing mountain bikes for over 25 years. He has won the Leadville Trail 100 six times, is a two-time US National Champion, has won World Cup races and is a member of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. He chose Western due to its proximity to world class skiing and whitewater kayaking.

Director Of Campus Recreation: Duncan Callahan
Duncan Callahan graduated from Western in 2005 with a strong passion for Gunnison and endurance sports. Over a decade of competing and coaching has followed. Callahan’s main passion has centered on engaging young student-athletes in an attempt to impact lives, which led him to the Director of Campus Recreation position in the summer of 2014.
