On Sunday, February 17th, the last USASA slopestyle competition of the season took place in the Gold Link Terrain Park at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Eight WSCU student athletes competed in Sunday’s event, taking their skills on the slopes to  rails, boxes, and jumps. Among the lineup WSCU student athletes included: Matt Byrne, Dave Sugnet, Bryan Meinert, Hunter Knoll, Grady Shoop, Andrew Arnold, Polly McGrane and Alex Wakenight.

I was excited that all different skill levels were able to participate in the event at CB since they comp has one line with medium sized features and another with larger, more advanced features. Veterans and newbies both had some options to work with – Dave Sugnet, Park & Pipe Team President and WSCU Senior
