WSCU Cycling athletes Ben Jackson, Alex Alleman, and Angela Vitulli got the urge for dirt and headed over Monarch Pass to spin some rubber this weekend. Temperatures in Salida and Montrose, just outside the Gunnison Valley, have been relatively mild in recent weeks encouraging some winter riding. Athletes rode the S Mountain Trails all afternoon and wrapped the day up with some pizza and local beer at the Amicas Brewery in town.
