With recent cold temperatures and plenty of snow sticking around the WSCU campus, building for the 2013 on-campus rail park is in full swing. WSCU Facilities Services department, an integral part of the season rail park, began to pile snow last Friday, January 11th. The WSCU On-campus Rail Park is located just south of the University Center and opens seasonally for students to ride. Over the years, features for the park include: boxes, handrails, shotgun rails, cannon pipes, quarter pipes, and bonks. This year, the park is slated to open for students to ride during the first week of February, prior to the 4th Annual Campus Jam.

The 4th Annual Campus Rail Jam will take place on February 15th, 2013 with categories for competition: men’s ski and snowboard, and women’s combined. Stay tuned for updates here at WSCUmountainsports.com or follow the rail park on Facebook and Twitter!
